Glock 30s vs glock 30sf.
The 30 series was simply designed as combat guns and intended for combat loads. With those, the G30 was uber reliable. To make a long story short, the G30 quickly became my favorite Glock. My test sample never went back—I sent a check to Glock and bought the darn thing. It was to be the first of a series of compact Glocks in .45 ACP.
I had a 30sf, that is a great gun, just to much for me to carry. I now have a 36, that’s the biggest I can carry, though I wish the 30s was as easy but weight is an issue for me. The 30s on paper looks like the ultimate 45acp, but weight matters. The 30S has the SF frame. The SF, regular and Gen4 frames are the same width. The grip, front to back, is shorter on the SF and Gen4 models than on the regular G30. Glock should just make the SF models the standard now. There really isn't any point in having the current standard frame anymore.

Beyond that you wont be able to seat the mags if the mags run flush to the mag well so those would need to stick out the bottom even more.
